Configure your new installation
Use this form to prepare your installation. It creates config.php and app/billing-config.php for a new LedgerWorks installation. The form generates the file in your browser; it does not submit your passwords to a server.
New installations only. Do not use this to replace an existing configuration: it generates a new encryption key. Keep the original key with your backups.
Your next steps
Upload this second file into app/. It assigns your admin email. PayPal billing stays disabled.
- Upload config.php into the application folder, alongside index.php.
- Open your website address followed by /setup.php.
- Use this one-time setup key:
- After setup, delete setup.php, public/setup.php and CONFIGURE.html and remove setup_key from your configuration.
Save config.php securely. It contains your database and mailbox passwords plus the key needed to read encrypted UTR details.
